The Beautiful mistake

Little girl was standing behind the iron gates, watching kids play on the streets. Sun-rays made her hair shine like spun gold, honey-brown eyes complementing her pale skin. All this beauty dripping from her mocked the fate. If only she had aged normally she would have been a teenage-queen now. How could God make such a beautiful mistake?

Dedicated to my neighbor’s daughter who is frozen in time.
